The Realme GT7 appears set to challenge current flagships globally, not just in China. Realme has also teased that the device will complement MediaTek's new Dimensity 9400+ chipset with a 'graphene glass fibre fusion' back panel that offers up to 6x the thermal conductivity of conventional glass for improved thermal performance when gaming.

Android Smartphone Leaks / Rumors

Realme has already confirmed that the successor to last year's GT6 (curr. $496.99 on Amazon) will be launching later this month with MediaTek's new Dimensity 9400+ chipset. However, that official debut will be consigned to China where Realme tends to release smartphones first.

Based on a new teaser, Realme intends to offer its GT6 replacement in other markets eventually too. Although it has not revealed when yet, it is running a competition in India where the winner will get to 'participate in the launch of the next-generation GT'.

Meanwhile, the company has shared new details about the GT7 on Chinese social media. Apparently, the Realme GT7 does not feature a conventional glass back. Instead, Realme has installed what it describes as a 'graphene glass fibre fusion' for improved heat dissipation. The company goes as far as to claim that the material delivers up to 6x the thermal conductivity of conventional glass while being thinner and sturdier to boot. Currently, Realme is expected to complement this new material with a battery that surpasses 7,000 mAh and can be recharged at 100 W.
